Who We Are
Scott has been in the fitness industry for the last 15 years. Scott obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Western University. He then went to Sheridan College where he completed a second Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Therapy and became certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association. Soon after, Scott became a Registered Massage Therapist. Between 2011 and 2014, Scott worked with Cricket Canada as the Strength and Conditioning Coach and Athletic Therapist of the national team. In 2015 Scott obtained a Masters degree in exercise science from Edith Cowan University. More recently, in 2017, Scott completed his Level 2 nutrition coaching certification with Precision Nutrition.
Mel Lunde has graduated from the University of Calgary with her Bachelors of Kinesiology and is now registered through the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. Her passion for movement began during her competitive career dancing internationally. This quickly transitioned into her 10 years of experience teaching dance as well as her extensive time with the UCalgary Gymnastics Centre. Outside of school, Mel worked alongside physiotherapists at the UCalgary Sports Medicine Centre. She now looks forward to each season hiking, skiing and swimming.
Karina has been working in the health and fitness industry for the past 3 years, but has been immersed within it from her childhood. Former elite level hockey player and gymnast, Karina has a passion for athletics that only grew after obtaining her ACE Certified Personal Training Certification. Soon going on to obtain her TRX Suspension and Group Training Qualifications, she used her new found knowledge to coach young athletes on how to find their strength. Later obtaining her Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification, Karina’s passion has grown into guiding clients towards holistic, nourishing health practices. As a whole, Karina believes health and fitness should be a lifestyle to be enjoyed and cherished, within every step along the way.
